About

Keep UtahPresents' Local Artist Series Going

Artists are the lifeblood of our community. This U Giving Day, join UtahPresents in championing the amazing creatives right here in Utah.

Last year, UtahPresents transformed our fan favorite Stage Door Series with the goal to elevate our support of Utah-based artists. After a successful pilot year, premiering new works by Heartland Collective and Plan-B Theatre, we need your help to keep the series going.

Our plans for next season include commissioning and presenting acclaimed choreographer Stephanie Garcia, and a new concert experience from indie folk rock band Little Moon in partnership with arts collective 801 Salon. These incredible artists reflect the rich talent and diverse creativity thriving in our community. We don’t yet know if the National Endowment for the Arts will continue funding the Stage Door Series, making your contribution to this campaign essential.

The projected costs for next year’s series top $45,000. By giving today, you'll provide vital resources for local artists and strengthen Utah’s creative ecosystem. Plus, your donation will go even further with $2,000 in 1:1 matches to unlock!

• $25 becomes $50 to buy materials

• $50 becomes $100 to rent production equipment

· $100 becomes $200 to help staff a show

• $250 becomes $500 to pay a performer

Your gift makes a lasting impact. Together, we can fuel the work of local artists and inspire our community. Thank you for your support!

Meet the 2025-2026 Stage Door Series Artists:

Stephanie Garcia is an award-winning Mexican artist whose powerful interdisciplinary work combines dance, video, and performance art. With over 30 original pieces presented across the world, Garcia's thought-provoking creations inspire audiences far and wide.

Little Moon, led by singer-songwriter Emma Hardyman, creates a unique blend of indie folk rock with soaring vocals and rich arrangements. Winners of the 2023 NPR Tiny Desk Contest, they bring an unforgettable sound reminiscent of a Zelda soundtrack fused with Vashti Bunyan's dreamy tones.

801 Salon is a vibrant multidisciplinary arts collective that showcases pop-up exhibits and performances throughout Salt Lake City. By removing financial barriers and collaborating with local businesses, 801 Salon empowers emerging and established artists alike.
